Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Satsu Episode 4
The three chapters of the series are Demon Revealing Chapter (having three parts), Cotton-Revealing Chapter (having three parts), Curse Revealing Chapter (having five parts), and God Entertaining Chapter (having four parts). While all these chapters are a continuation of the last episode, in this article, we will only discuss the Cotton Revealing Chapter, Part 1.
The Cotton Revealing Chapter part 1 or Wataakashi-Hen Sono Ichi is the 4th episode of the entire series. Written and directed by Naoyuki Tatsuwa, the episode aired on July 14, 2021.
This episode deals considerably with the Realm of Time Fragments. In the very opening scene, you will see Rika on the floor. Once she stands up, Hanyu materializes behind her. In this episode thus, we see Rika is dead. When Hanyu tries to ask her how she died, she says she doesn’t remember anything. Even Rika informs that Rena and Kiichi have killed each other.
However, this part comes in the prologue. But, in the first half, we see Satoko and Rika sharing a flat. The episode also features an encounter between Teppei and Satoko. In the second half, the director uses a flashback where Mion teaches Satoko how to use a gun.
