In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 187, Koji Kashin murders Ao for his failure and overwhelms Team 7. When it appears that Konohamaru is doomed, Boruto’s arm seal activates and absorbs Koji’s Jutsu. Therefore, Koji leaves, and he is happy with Boruto. However, team 7 discovers an unconscious youngster with the same marking on his hand as Boruto while walking back to the Leaf after their combat. Delta and Code, meanwhile, are dubious of Koji and Boro’s motives within Kara.

The toad’s weight causes the abandoned building to collapse. Ao uses Water Release to throw Boruto out of the route of the debris. However, the toad crushes him. After releasing his summon, Koji inquires what prompted Ao to use ninjutsu at the very end.
He congratulates them on their victory, thoroughly enjoying it, and irritates Boruto by dismissing Ao’s feelings. Konohamaru presses him for more on Kara, but Koji remains silent. Finally, Koji freezes their movements and prepares to burn them alive.
Konohamaru uses one of his own to breach the seal. Koji counters and avoids Konohamaru’s taijutsu and Fire Release as the two fight. Then, to everyone’s surprise, Koji counters Konohamaru’s Rasengan with his own.
Later, Amado goes over his Code files and remembers that Koji and Boro have yet to be cleared as traitors. Delta sneaks in to check on the files on Code when he is away from his station. She views Koji as the traitor because he and Boro are both clean. Code is irritated with another member somewhere in the hideout.
Final Thoughts
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 187 shows Konohamaru’s wish to return to the community. It seems that he has a lot of information to share. Moreover, Boruto inquires about Chamaru. However, Katasuke tells him that he will return to the lab on his own if anything happens.
They inspect the aftermath of a battle with more autonomous puppets. Unfortunately, they’re in significantly worse shape than the ones Team 7 took out. Chamaru calls their attention to a knocked-out boy, whom they believe is the puppets’ Victor. Therefore, Boruto approaches him despite Konohamaru’s caution and sees he has the same mark as him.
