In his film “Modern Times,” Charlie Chaplin” fantastically depicted a world where technologies and machines did everything and humans were just a puppet in their hands. A staunch critique of rampant industrialization, this film, made a hundred years ago, is still relevant. But what if, one day, that human also stops existing? Created in 2021, Vivy Fluorite Eye’s Song Episode 2 talks about one such imminent threat where robots will destroy humanity and take over the world. The irony in that episode will be that these AI robots will be the products of human intelligence only.
Even if the anime is set in an imaginary world, it has striking similarities with the present. With AI robots Sophia and Alexa doing almost all our jobs, this reality is not very far away. So, if you are yet to watch Vivy: Flourite Eye’s Song, here we have the summary of the second episode laid out for you.

Vivy Fluorite Eye’s Song Episode 2
In the previous episode, seeing the attack on Youichi Aikawa, Vivy becomes convinced about the threat Matsumoto was earlier talking about and joins the mission. In the second episode, titled ‘The Beginning of the One Hundred Year Journey”, directed by Yusuke Kobo, we see, as the name suggests, the start of the mission.
Here, Aikawa is again saved. In doing so, Vivy even saves an enemy because her ultimate mission is to spread love and happiness to everyone. Matsumoto tricks the attackers by changing what they see in their goggles. By this strategic move, the attackers thought Aikawa died. Meanwhile, they get on a plane that Momoka was flying. However, she could see that this passenger plane would explode due to a leak. But, Matsumoto stops her from saving the explosion because that would tamper with the timeline and alter it unnecessarily.
